Child support question?

The only one that will end up being taken to court is your 17 year old boyfriend.If you go on any kind of public assistance,(food stamps,TANF, public housing,etc) the state child support division will automaticly go after the father for child support. There is no way on earth that he can take you to court so he does not have to pay child support. He has to pay his child support when it is established he is the father. If you are truely terrified about your baby son being in their home then I suggest you contact the child services division and talk to a case worker about your concerns.They should be able to point you in the right direction.
