Is having NO air conditioning make you a bad parent.?

I was always under the impression that air conition is considered a luxury to have. Air condtion growing up in the family car was "ROLLING DOWN THE WINDOWS" I would not consider it to be unfit or bad parenting. . I think people get to spoiled with the luxuries of life and in a moments notice expect it to be a neccessity to live. . .
