How hard is it to get into the Oberlin Conservatory for classical piano?
I've been playing for almost 10 years and have attended Interlochen for piano (this summer will be my second time). I'm a high school junior right now and am finishing up Rachmaninoff's Prelude No. 5 (Opus 23) and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6. In the past I've done Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata and Schubert's Impromptu in e flat (opus 90, no. 2). I've begun to work on the Grieg Piano concerto in A minor and some Chopin Nocturnes. What are my chances of getting in to Oberlin's conservatory? Thanks for any insight.
