What do you think of this Classic concert (richard Strauss)?

Strauss wrote two horn concertos. This one sounds nothing like the 2nd. I think they are so far apart in time that he really changed his style of writing. Of the 2, this is my favorite, you know his dad was one of the great horn players of the 18 hundreds.
